Happy Thursday! I’m back in Austin until the end of next week, when I’ll be heading off to Carlsbad for three weeks. I’ve got some things to do while I’m here to prep for my condo being listed/shown while I’m out of town, so it’ll be a busy one! Assuming I can find a renter in the three weeks I’m gone, there’s a chance I’ll be moving out of my condo the first week of September… so gotta be prepared for that and get some things organized on the backend!
My last week in New York was fairly low key with so many of my friends out of town! It was a solid mix of social plans and getting ahead on work, which is never a bad thing. I’ve had such a fabulous few months in the city, and sometimes it’s hard to balance all the fun with getting enough done work wise. I had the opposite problem in Texas! I never had enough to do socially and ended up working 24/7 just to fill up my time. Now that I’m fully going to be living in New York and no longer splitting my time, I’m going to have to do a better job of establishing a more comfortable balance of the two.
