Separately, since I didn’t record last week, I take a moment at the beginning of this week’s podcast to discuss the catastrophic flooding that took place in Hunt, Texas over the 4th of July weekend. You can read more of my thoughts on it here, but I hadn’t had a chance to speak about it and it’s been on my mind truly every day since. My heart goes out to every family affected by this terrible tragedy, along with my Camp Mystic family, the Hunt community and anyone else touched by the unspeakable devastation.
