As this is hitting your inbox, I’m currently on my flight to Buenos Aires! I land around 11am and then will meet up with the rest of the fam for a day of shopping. Tomorrow we’ll be doing some sightseeing, since my brother-in-law has not been before. This will be my fourth trip down, but all of the photos I’ve taken of the landmarks in Buenos Aires were from my first trip down there in 2012… so naturally the quality is quite poor. I’m looking forward to rediscovering the city and getting some fresh photos of it too! We’ll spend two nights in Buenos Aires before flying over to Cordoba where we’ll spend nearly a week at the lodge.
Packing for this trip is always a challenge, because the flight from BA to Cordoba requires a 35lb max weight for each person’s luggage. As an avid over-packer, I really have to work hard to edit down what I plan to take and make sure what I’m packing can be worn at least twice. I decided to film a vlog of the process, and in it you’ll see how I typically plan, edit down and ultimately finalize what items to pack! It’s winter there right now and I didn’t want to buy anything for this trip, so everything except one item is something already in my closet. The temps will be between 40-60 the whole time, so think sweaters, jackets and jeans! And can’t forget the cowboy boots…
Watch the video and scroll down for some photos from previous trips - I’ll be shooting more video content than I have on previous trips down there, so stay tuned for more!!
