THINGS I ORDERED, KEPT AND RETURNED LAST WEEK

• I’ve been searching for a new low-heeled, thong-style sandal for a bit with little success. I ordered this budget-friendly style by Open Edit to try the trend first, but the fit of the arch was off and they weren’t comfortable. Next I tried this Toteme style which felt incredibly stiff in the toe - I couldn’t even walk a few steps in my apartment they were so painful! On and on I ordered thong sandals to try and nothing was working. Last week I ordered this pair and this pair from Nordstrom and finally found a winner! This style by Stuart Weitzman is soooo much more comfortable than any of the others I’ve tried. The leather between the toes is soft, not stiff - exactly as it should feel. This pair is not as comfortable as the aforementioned pair, but I did order these inserts which help a lot in creating a protective barrier against a more stiff toe-skimming strap. I decided to keep both pairs, because I reeeeaaallly wanted a chocolate brown pair. I’ll likely be taking both pairs with me to Paris next week, so will report back after my trip on whether they remained comfortable!

• My friend Bebe shared this dupe for this colorful Carolina Bucci necklace stories last week and I ordered it immediately! With chunky necklaces having a moment, I was excited to find a similar style for less. I thought it would be fun to style with a simple white tee or with any of my bright favorites when I’m on vacation in California next month!

• Ahead of my trip to Paris on Tuesday, I placed a pretty big order on Revolve. I’m still waiting on the package to arrive, but I ordered several styles from this roundup I shared on LTK. A few items I’m particularly excited to try on? This brown linen minidress, this black midi with raffia trim, and this simple under $100 set!
